At Campus Vendor, we understand that circumstances may change, and you might need to cancel an order. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which orders can be canceled and any associated procedures. By using Campus Vendor, you agree to comply with this policy.
1. Order Cancellation
1.1. Eligibility for Cancellation
Orders can be canceled under the following conditions:
- The cancellation request is made before the seller has shipped the item.
- The item is not a non-cancellable item (see Section 2 for exclusions).
1.2. Time Frame for Cancellations
Buyers are encouraged to initiate cancellations as soon as possible. Requests made within 24 hours of placing the order will have a higher likelihood of approval.
2. Non-Cancellable Items
The following items cannot be canceled once the order is placed:
- Customized or personalized items
- Digital products (e.g., eBooks, software) that have been accessed or downloaded
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
- Items marked as final sale or non-cancellable at the time of purchase
3. How to Cancel an Order
3.1. Contacting the Seller
To cancel an order, buyers should first contact the seller directly through the Campus Vendor messaging system. Sellers will be required to confirm the cancellation request as soon as possible.
3.2. Cancellation Request
If a buyer cannot reach the seller or does not receive a timely response, they can submit a cancellation request to Campus Vendor’s support team at support@campusvendor.com. Please include:
- Order details (order ID, date of purchase)
- Reason for cancellation
Campus Vendor will review the cancellation request and notify the buyer of the outcome.
4. Refunds for Canceled Orders
4.1. Approved Cancellations
If the cancellation request is approved before the item has been shipped, a full refund will be issued to the buyer’s original payment method.
4.2. Refund Timeline
Refunds for canceled orders will typically be processed within 7-14 business days, depending on the payment provider.
5. Seller Responsibilities
5.1. Seller Cancellation Policies
Sellers are encouraged to outline their own cancellation policies in their product listings. These policies should align with Campus Vendor’s guidelines and applicable consumer protection laws. If no specific cancellation policy is provided, this Cancellation Policy will apply.
5.2. Responding to Cancellation Requests
Sellers must respond promptly to cancellation requests and communicate their decision to the buyer and Campus Vendor. Failure to respond may result in automatic approval of the cancellation request.
6. Fraudulent Cancellation Claims
Campus Vendor does not tolerate fraudulent cancellation claims. Users found submitting false or misleading cancellation requests may have their accounts suspended or terminated. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Intentionally placing orders with no intention of purchase
- Falsely claiming order cancellation due to non-receipt
7. Policy Modifications
Campus Vendor reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the platform and will take effect immediately for future transactions. Continued use of Campus Vendor after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
